(Skunk-Ape is holding a cobweb broom and a chair.)
Skunk-Ape: Your first job will be to get rid of some cobwebs.
Panel 2:
(Skunk-Ape has extended the broom.)
Skunk-Ape: This cobweb broom extends as high as you need it to go.
Panel 3:
(Howie is now holding the broom and pointing at the chair.)
Howie: Wait... if the broom can reach everything... then why do I need the chair?
Skunk-Ape: Uh...
Panel 4:
(Darkened room, Howie is silhouetted against the doorway. He is holding the chair like a lion tamer, between him and the biggest spider ever.)
