Aaaand that wraps up the first week of Monsterhood.

On Monday we’ll take a break from the main story for Meet-a-Monster Monday (I’ll be doing those for a few weeks – it’s a thinly veiled ploy to introduce some other characters while all this exposition is going on.)

Then: is life among the monsters all Howie expected it to be? (SPOILER ALERT: No.)

Panel 1:
Skunk-Ape: Supposing you do stay here... there's still the fact that YOU'RE NOT A MONSTER.
Panel 2:
Howie: I'VE GOT IT! You could TEACH me! I could be your monster's apprentice.
Skunk-Ape: Oh, kid, I don't think--
Panel 3:
Howie: In return, I GUESS I could do some chores.
Skunk-Ape: CHORES, you say?
Panel 4:
(Howie and Skunk-Ape are standing in front of a mansion in need of repair. There is a large hole in the roof.)
Skunk-Ape: Welcome to my place, Howie! How are you with heights?
