(Skunk-Ape motions for Howie to shoo.)
Skunk-Ape: Anyway, kid, unless you can grow a tail real fast, you'd better scram.
Howie: Please don't make me go back.
Panel 2:
(Howie turns, tears in his eyes. Skunk-Ape appears concerned.)
Howie: You see I live with my two wicked step-aunts who make me work DAY AND NIGHT.
Panel 3:
(Howie still crying, Skunk-Ape more upset.)
Howie: And even though there are plenty of rooms, I sleep in the box the T.V. came in.
Panel 4:
Howie: Did I mention the T.V. was a portable?
(Skunk-Ape now crying. Like a baby. Like a big, furry baby.)
